Craving for Carbonara

I was craving for carbonara and since we are here in UAE and no restaurant where it is served, I decided to cook it myself for dinner. I topped it with bacon bits and put ham instead of tuna which I always use in this recipe. Nichos requested that I put hotdogs and so I did and I did not use campbell cream of mushroom but just nestle cream and evap milk. It was really yummy. I paired it with bread with cheese and turkey breasts. Hubby asked what's the occasion, I just felt like cooking and our 5th year anniversary is on the 22nd anyway and I won't be able to cook as it is my schedule for check up. We still have some pasta left and would finish it up later for midnight snack as I'll surely be hungry again.
