Driving

I forgot to blog that I now have a driving license. I don't know how to drive and I didn't imagine myself to be driving in UAE of all places. I remembered when I was young, I told myself I will get myself a driver when I have a car. Here, in UAE it's a necessity to have a car as the public transportation is limited to a taxi which of course can be so expensive. With that in mind, I decided to get a driving license. We do have a vehicle now which my husband drives but now that I have a license, I plan to get my own car as well. I'm still not so confident in my driving skills although I can drive by myself to and from the office however I still need to practice my parking and driving at night. With that, I leave you with the road signs here in UAE which we drivers need to adhere to.

 

There are so many round abouts here in Al Ain. I still find it hard driving in these areas.
