I celebrated my 31st bday last January 19. Childlike as I am, I still wanted to have a little party and blow the cake, feeling bata lang ang peg. Pinagbigyan naman ako ng asawa ko at sya ang bumili ng cake.

I took a leave on the 19th which happens to be a Thursday and last working day of the week so we can have a weekend getaway in Dubai. Good thing that I was able to purchase a voucher a few months back for
the address residences in Dubai Mall One of the great things about the hotel is it is directly connected to the mall kaya kahit magdamag ka magikot ang lapit lang ng uuwian, heaven talaga para kang sa mall nakatira. Ang ganda din ng view from our hotel room kita ang burj khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world.

I also booked a buffet dinner in Kitakits cafe in Marco Polo Hotel. I really wanted to eat buffet pero Filipino food kasi mostly dito international cuisine tapos ung iba d mo naman makain. It was really cheap for only AED 38 with 1 free softdrinks or juice. Super sulit kasi you can eat the likes of Kare kare, Adobo, Pansit, sweet and sour fish fillet, chicharon and lechon kawali as in super busog kami lalo na si Nichos.

Before traveling back to Al Ain the following day, we decided to dropped by Dubai Festival City for picture taking.
Hubby gave me an Aldo bag as a gift and I have given myself Fitflops, which was part of my
Christmas wishlist. Bought 2 out of 3 in that wishlist, the only thing pending is the coach or longchamp bag, which I am hoping to get for Valentine's :)
