Celebrating Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day with a dinner date as I won a buffet roast dinner for 2 at Palm Greens Restaurant. My friends are always telling me I am so lucky as this was not the first time that I have won a dinner voucher and we recently just won an AED 500 voucher as well to Bawadi Mall a couple of weeks back. My gift to hubby was a Canon 18-200mm camera lens which he has been longing for. The price is almost the same as getting a new DSLR.

The dinner was really good. The food was yummy and it was nice to dress up once in a while.

My hubby recently got an iphone 4s through Etisalat. We got it at no cash out at AED 200 a month with1gb data for 18 months. I have an iphone 4 which I got 1 and a half years ago but I am unable to utilize all its features. We are more fond of the blackberry because of the "bbm" but now that we both have an iphone, I am thinking of ditching my balckberry for iphone. The price of the BB easily depreciates while iphone doesn't and truly iphone has better features. Anyway, he is really enjoying his iphone now not because of "Siri" but of instagram. How we spent Valentine's Day!

We spent the day with a dinner date in Ayla Hotel. The hotel restaurant really did put effort in having the Valentine's decoration. The buffet was International Cuisine. We love the grilled shrimps and the desert was awesome, super yummy. Too bad I was not able to take a photo of the food.

Honestly, I was never really a fan of Valentine's day that is until I met my husband coz I know know I already have a Valentino for life. He's not the type of person na mahilig mag gift at surprise. We usually just buy gifts for each other na pinapapili namin ang isa't isa at yung Valentine's gift namin ay advance gift na. Kaya ako naman ay super kilig sa kanyang surprise gift na d naging surprise kasi d sya nakatiis pinicturan nya at sinend sa kin hehehe....

How we spent our Anniversary

Yesterday was our 8th year anniversary, we decided to spend it in Dubai. We booked a hotel for 1 night and had a dhow cruise dinner and gimik afterwards.

Overall, it was indeed an enjoyable and fun day for us. We get to spend time alone with each other and celebrate 8 yrs of marriage bliss.

At eto na kami ngayon....These photos were taken after our Year End Party at the office last Friday, which I have yet to blog.

 Looking at this photo's nothing has changed, we might have gained weight but the love I feel for my hubby is still the same as the first time I said "yes" to him, it even grows stronger everyday.

 I look forward to a lifetime together and I always hope and pray that we grow old together with the kids. 8 is just a number, what is most important is the love and respect you have for each other no matter how many years have gone by.

While I was transferring music to my MP3 player, I chance again upon the song "Two Words". This was my bridal march song on our wedding last 26 February 2011. This was our 2nd wedding as we have been married already through Civil Rites last 22 December 2003.
